Osmo Eerik Mäenpää (born 16 January 1988) is a Finnish singer, songwriter, DJ, and music producer. He first came prominence in 2016 after placing fifth on season six of Finnish Idol. He also competed in SuomenLaulu 1 with the song "Pullat hyvin uunissa".

Early life[]
Mäenpää was born on 16 January 1988 in Espoo. His father works at a bank, while his mother is a hairdresser. He grew up with two older sisters.
Mäenpää graduated from primary school in 2004. Following his graduation, he began attending a music school, which he graduated from in 2007. After completing his compulsory military service, he moved to Helsinki to begin a music career.
2008–2016: Early career[]
After settling in Helsinki, Mäenpää began working as a freelance songwriter and record producer, while he also supported himself by DJing at local nightclubs. In 2013, he began producing his own remixes to play at clubs. He began singing professionally in 2014, and started writing and recording songs for himself.
2016–present: Finnish Idol and SuomenLaulu[]
In 2016, Mäenpää tried out for season six of Finnish Idol, and made it onto the show. He ended up placing fifth. Following the show's ending, he was signed to Finnish electronic label Sähkö Recordings.
In 2016, he recorded the song "Pullat hyvin uunissa", and submitted it to SuomenLaulu 1, Finland's national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. He ended up qualifying as a finalist, and placed eighth in the final, placing eighth with the jury vote and ninth with the public vote.
