Kristin Isabella Josefsson (born 12 April 1985) is a Swedish singer and songwriter, best known for being the lead singer of dansband The Hard Knockers. As a solo artist, she competed in Svensksong 1 with the song "Dansa med mig".
Life and careerEdit
Josefsson was born on 12 April 1985 in Ed, Dals-Ed Municipality, located on the border with Norway. She grew up on a moose farm, and has two younger sisters and a younger brother.
Josefsson completed her compulsory education in 2001, and later moved to Vänersborg to attend a music school. She graduated from music school in 2004, and moved to Gothenburg to pursue a music career.
2006–present: Work with The Hard KnockersEdit
After working as a solo singer for two years, Josefsson became the lead singer for dansband The Hard Knockers in 2006. The band signed to Universal Music Sweden in 2007, and relocated to Stockholm to begin work on their debut studio album.
Their debut single, "För mig", was released in 2008. They released their debut self-titled studio album later that year. They went on to release three other albums in 2009, 2011, and 2013.
2016–present: Solo careerEdit
In 2016, Josefsson was confirmed to be taking part in Svensksong 1 as a solo artist, with the song "Dansa med mig". She performed the song in the second semi-final, and advanced to andra chansen. In andra chansen, she was eliminated by Hans Grönberg.
Josefsson married David Danielsson in 2014. They reside in Stockholm. She is a Lutheran, belonging to the Church of Sweden.
