Kendrix is a Swedish three-piece boyband from Stockholm. The group consists of Oscar Hansberg, Jojo Lindblad, and Mikael Rudner. They competed in Svensksong 1 with the song "My Supergirl".
2014–2016: Formation and BreakthroughEdit
Kendrix was formed in 2014 by Sony Music Sweden, after announcing auditions for a three-piece boyband. The group debuted together in September 2014. They went on to release their debut single, "Birthday Cake", in early-2015, which became a top ten single in Sweden.
They released their debut studio album, Breakthrough, later in the year. The album was also a large success in their home country, peaking at number-two. They later went on a tour, performing in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, and Germany.
In 2016, they was confirmed to be taking part in Svensksong 1, with the song "My Supergirl". They performed the song in the third semi-final, and advanced to andra chansen. In andra chansen, they were eliminated.
