Heidi Hannele Lallukka (born 12 February 1996) is a Finnish singer and songwriter. She competed in SuomenLaulu 1 with the song "Animals".
Life and careerEdit
Lallukka was born on 12 February 1996 in Riihimäki. Her father works for the municipal government, while her mother is a real estate agent. She has two younger sisters. She was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes when she was 12 years old.
Lallukka graduated from primary school in 2012, and began attending a music school in Helsinki. She graduated from music school in 2015. After her graduation, Lallukka moved to Helsinki in order to establish herself as a musician, and also began working at a pizza restaurant.
2015–present: SuomenLaulu 1Edit
After settling in Helsinki, Lallukka began working with producers and songwriters on music. She released her debut single, "Stars", in 2016. In 2016, she recorded the song "Animals", and submitted it to SuomenLaulu 1, Finland's national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. She ended up qualifying as a finalist, and placed third in the final, placing fourth in the jury vote and third with the public vote.
