Ráhkesvuohta is a Finnish Sami mother-daughter duo from Utsjoki. The duo consists of joik musician Kerttu Pihlajamäki and her daughter Kirste Pihlajamäki. They competed in SuomenLaulu 1 with the song "Hold Your Heart Out". Their name translates to "love" in Northern Sami.

2016–present: Formation and SuomenLaulu[]
Kerttu was born in 1958 in Utsjoki, and is a successful joik musician, having released over 20 albums in her 30-year long career. Her daughter, Kirste, was born in 1992 in Utsjoki. Kirste is a Finnish pop singer, who released her debut studio album in 2014. She moved to Helsinki, where she currently resides, in 2011.
The group formed in 2016, after they decided to submit a song together to SuomenLaulu 1, Finland's national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. They ended up submitting "Hold Your Heart Out", a song which blended traditional mainstream pop with joik music. They ended up qualifying as finalists, and placed seventh in the final, placing eighth in the jury vote and with the public vote. They have revealed that they will continue making music together following the competition.
