Life and careerEdit
Revazishvili was born on 12 July 1994 in the Mtatsminda neighborhood of Tbilisi. Her father is the CFO of a Georgian real estate company, while her mother is an attorney. She grew up in an upper class family, and has two younger brothers.
Revazishvili graduated from elementary school in 2006 and basic school in 2009. She then began attending a music school in Tbilisi, which she graduated from in 2011. Following her graduation, she began pursuing a professional music career.
2011–2014: Breakthrough and unEMOTIONALEdit
In 2011, Revazishvili began creating demo recordings and writing songs with various Georgian and Russian songwriters and record producers. In 2013, she released her debut single, "Hold Me Down", which became the best-selling single in Georgia of 2013. Her debut studio album, unEMOTIONAL, was released later that year. Following the album's success, she went on an international tour, performing in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Greece, Russia, and Ukraine.
2014–present: Tsekvaven varskvlavebi and Eurovision Song ContestEdit
In 2014, she competed in Tsekvaven varskvlavebi, Georgia's version of Dancing with the Stars. She went on to win the competition, earning the highest total score of all-time for the Georgian series.
In 2016, Revazishvili revealed that she was working on new music for her second studio album after posting a picture of her recording in a studio to her Instagram account. In December 2016, she was confirmed to be representing Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest: Stockholm. Her song will be selected through the national final, Georgia Eurosong 1.
Revazishvili resides in Tbilisi. She speaks fluent Georgian, Russian, and English.
