EKOR is a Norwegian glam rock band from Oslo. The band consists of lead vocalist Espen Hanevold, guitarist Kasper Østerberg, bassist Ole Eskildsen, and drummer Rasmus von der Lippe. They competed in Norsksong 1 with the song "Runaways". The band is known for incorporating humor into their performances.

History[]

2014–present: Formation and Norsksong[]

EKOR was formed in 2014 by musician and comedian Espen Hanevold. He held auditions for other band members, and soon Kasper Østerberg, Ole Eskildsen, and Rasmus von der Lippe were all added to the band. They were then signed to Universal Music Norway.

In 2015, they released their debut studio album, Death at the Disco. The album achieved modest success in Norway. In 2017, they were confirmed to be taking part in Norsksong 1, with the song "Runaways". They qualified for the superfinal, and ended up placing second.
