2014–2016: Formation and Disco SongsEdit
AnnaJack was formed in 2014 by close friends and schoolmates Anna Mpule and Jack Hansson, while they were in their final year of music school. It originally began as Mpule's solo career, and Hansson would simply produce her songs. However, a few months into their collaboration, they changed their name to "AnnaJack" and began crediting Hansson as an official member of the duo.
They released the single, "Dancing Shoes", in early-2015, which gained viral success. As a result of the success, they were signed to TEN Music Group. They released their debut EP, Disco Songs, in 2016.
In 2016, they was confirmed to be taking part in Svensksong 1, with the song "Mercy". They performed the song in the fourth semi-final, but placed fifth and was eliminated.
