Alice Caroline Jacobsson (born 16 December 1973) is a Swedish television presenter and journalist. She is best known for hosting the Eurovision Song Contest: Stockholm.

Life and careerEdit

Early lifeEdit

Jacobsson was born on 16 December 1973 in Danderyd, shortly outside of Stockholm. Her father, Olof, worked in business, while her mother, Lisa, was a stay-at-home mother. Jacobsson grew up with one younger sister.

After graduating from compulsory school in 1990, Jacobsson studied journalism in upper secondary school, graduating in 1993. She later went on to attend Stockholm University, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism in 1996.

CareerEdit

After graduating from university, Jacobsson went on to work as an intern at MTV in New York for a year. Upon returning to Sweden, she got a job as a production assistant at Sveriges Television (SVT). She was later promoted to editor, and then began working on-air as a reporter in 2005.

In 2012, Jacobsson began hosting the Swedish version of The Voice, and remained on the show for four seasons, leaving in 2016. She is arguably best-known for hosting the Eurovision Song Contest: Stockholm.

Personal lifeEdit

Jacobsson married Henrik Olsson in 2004, after being in a relationship for the past five years. They reside in Djursholm with their three children; Annabell Maria Olsson (born 26 March 2008), David Thomas Olsson (born 18 June 2010), and Kristina Charlotte Olsson (born 19 December 2011).
